ESP?
Is this weird or what? For the last few days either my intuition is picking up OR The coincidences are simply mounting....Two days ago I saw a commercial for The Spiderwick Chronicals and they have an animal in there that looks real similar to the Hippogriff in the Harry Potter movies. So I begin wondering when the next Harry Potter movie is going to come out....maybe about an hour or so later there was a blurb on E! about the new Harry Potter movie coming out in November. That made me go to the J.K.Rowlings website to check around and read the stories etc. She was explaining how one of her characters (Nicolas Flamel) appears in other writings because he was a notable person because it was rumored that he created a Philospher's stone (the plot line of the first Harry Potter book). So while I'm reading this it occurs to me that another movie used similar ways of making a regular item into something seem supernatural. In Men In Black, Tommy Lee Jones explains how the Will Smith character runs down a cephlopod who was this man who could scale buildings and had two sets of eyelids. In real life a cephlopd is a giant squid. While I was making dinner I was contemplating all the movies that do this when I hear Jason bellow out "Max, Men in Black is on...you wanna watch it?" Weirder still....Then yesterday I was reading this book I borrowed from my mother and it has a murder scene in it where the medical examiner and investigator use luminol in order to determine if a crime was commited in this storage room. This all brought to mind a movie where I first heard of Luminol. It was called "For the Love of a Child" in where Valerie Bertinelle fights for custody of her nephew after her bro-in-law kills her sister. They prove his guilt by using Luminol to show the blood that he had cleaned up....Guess what movie is on Lifetime in 3 minutes? For the Love of a Child.....How freakin' WEIRD is that? Except that I'm an idiot and the movie that I was thinking of is really titled "In a child's name"....I wonder if it counts that I was wrong about the movie title when I was thinking about it, and therefore the whole intuition thing still counts? With my luck...I doubt it!! LOL
